Welcome to Mountain Meadows Public Safety Ministry located in Mineville, N.Y. in the Adirondack Mountains of northern N.Y.. We are a Police, Fire and Ems Chaplaincy providing Chaplaincy services to Public Safety Departments located in Northern N.Y., and the state of Vermont. While on scene we provide pastoral care and crisis intervention in conjunction with our local Law Enforcement,Fire and Ems responders.
Serving The Responder
We provide pastoral care for Public Safety Personnel and their families by: * Visiting Public Safety Officers on duty * Responding to critical incidents * Assisting on scene * Participating in special events * Participating in departmental and public ceremonies * Line of duty counseling * Personal counseling * Hospital visitation * Individual and group crisis intervention * Timely notifications * Times of fellowship * Peacemaker (LEO)Bible studies * Firefighter Bible studies * Adopt-A-Cop Prayer protection outreach *Firefighters for Christ Adk Chapter
Serving The Public
We provide on the scene pastoral care and crisis intervention in cooperation with Law Enforcement,Fire and Ems by: * Identifying and meeting emotional and spiritual needs on the scene to include all parties involved. * Offering the Ministry of presence quietly making our services available to all at a time of crisis. * Serving as a liaison between responders and the community. * Making referrals for follow up services following an incident. * Offering other needed assistance to responders and the community. We are an outreach of Mountain Meadows Christian Center of Mineville, N.Y. and are dedicated bringing God's Word to our Police,Fire and Ems personnel.
Mountain Meadows Public Safety Ministry is the proud sponsor of the Champlain Valley C.E.R.T. team (Citizen Emergency Response Team) serving the town of Moriah and the Champlain valley area, our local Fire Corps unit provding fire safety education and other specialized services in the town of Moriah and outlaying area's.
